You’ve likely encountered the name Jesus numerous times, even before visiting this page. Many are born into Christian families and may attend church regularly. Regardless of background, the name Jesus tends to resonate with people. Jesus is globally recognized, and many eagerly celebrate Christmas, which commemorates his birth. Yet, the true identity of Jesus remains unknown to many. The Bible recounts that Jesus was born two millennia ago to a virgin mother and is proclaimed as the Son of God. It narrates Jesus’s life, his teachings to multitudes, his healing of the sick, and his restoration of the broken. The Bible also details Jesus’s crucifixion, resurrection on the third day, and ascension to heaven.
As a child in a Christian household, I was acquainted with these stories. However, this knowledge alone didn’t bring any solace or improvement to my life, which was filled with fear and sin, until a transformative encounter with Jesus.
Encountering Jesus
My experience was profound. I learned that God desires a relationship with us, akin to that between a father and child. Jesus’s sacrifice and resurrection were for our sins, enabling us to become children of God. This new understanding completely altered my perspective. I had always viewed Jesus as a distant deity, uninvolved in my life. But I was mistaken.
The Bible doesn’t advocate for offerings or deeds to appease God, as some might believe. Romans 10:9 states, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” It’s about heartfelt belief and vocal confession. This simple act can profoundly impact one’s life.
When I embraced this truth, my life was transformed. Fear dissipated, and I felt assured of God’s presence through all trials. This revelation brought immense confidence. I sensed His presence and guidance in every aspect of life, leading to a complete turnaround.
Countless individuals, including myself, have had life-changing encounters with Jesus. Don’t miss your opportunity. I invite you to discover who Jesus truly is and embark on a remarkable journey that extends beyond earthly existence into eternity. Thank you.
